MST Series
A rugged manual tester designed for the laboratory,
quality control, or test facility that requires an accurate, reliable lower priced instrument. Quick action, and high readability are among it’s desirable features. Designed for testing springs, the MST may also be used for tensile and compression testing of numerous other materials or specimens.

AMETEK has Discontinued CHATILLON MST Series Spring Tester.

AMETEK Test and Calibration Instruments Division has discontinued the CHATILLON MST Series mechanical spring tester due to on-going difficulties procuring parts and market demand for improved features and economy. The MST Series spring tester has been widely used by government and military installations. Ametek currently manufactures Chatillon mechanical spring test systems that can replace the Chatillon MST spring tester.

The replacement products are as follows:
· MST-10 replaced by LG-010 Force Gauge and MT150HS1B2 Test Stand
· MST-25 replaced by LG-030 Force Gauge and MT150HS1B2 Test Stand
· MST-50 replaced by LG-050 Force Gauge and MT150HS1B2 Test Stand
· MST-100 replaced by LG-100 Force Gauge and MT150HS1B2 Test Stand
· MST-250 replaced by DG-300 Force Gauge and MT500HS1B2 Test Stand
· MST-500 replaced by DG-500 Force Gauge and MT500HS1B2 Test Stand

The Chatillon LG and DG force gauges have an accuracy of 0.5% of full scale and have 2 inch diameter dial face. The Chatillon MT series test stand have a 6 inch stroke and come with a ruler assembly to measure distance traveled.

The combination of the Chatillon force gauge (LG or DG Series) with the Chatillon MT series test stand should act as a replacement test system for the Chatillon MST spring tester.
