Platform Dial Scales

These economical,quality crafted platform scales feature a 13-inch plexiglass covered metal dial with knife-edge pointer for precision weighing. Ideal for industrial or commercial applications, these precision scales have a rugged welded steel construction with adjustable leveling feet and spirit level indicator. Scales has a standard 17 x 12-inch steel platform. An optional stainless steel platform is available. Additional features include special cast aluminum alloy levers and self-aligning hardened steel bearings with anti-friction points for long service. Oil dashpot is temperature compensated and the head cover removes for easy access to the dashpot and dial mechanism. Available as H44 Class III "Legal For Trade" subject to on-site verification by local Weights and Measures jurisdictions. Assembles in minutes with standard tools without affecting factory calibration. Shipping weight 50 lbs (23 kg).

Autopsy Hanging Scales

These extremely reliable scales are trusted for their absolute precision and lasting reliability. Widely used by hospitals, laboratories and universitites for demanding clinical applications. Scales are constructed of chrome plated steel with 9-inch (23 cm) or 13-inch (33 cm) glass covered dials. Full capacity is reached in three pointer revolutions. A zero adjust screw allows for the zeroing out of additional tares up to 10% of dial reading (3.3% of scale capacity). 13-inch models feature double dials (one reads clockwise, the other counter clockwise) for fast observations from either side of scale. These models also feature a machined stainless steel pinion and phosphor bronze rack combination for low friction performance at elevated temperatures. Two brass dashpots eliminate pointer oscillation. Shipping weight 11 lbs (5 kg).

BD Series Bulk Scales

Rugged, all-metal scales are designed for bulk weighing applications. Ideal for farms and industrial plants and warehouses. They feature a tough cast iron housing and runner with 7-inch (17.8 cm) annodized aluminum dial. Dial reaches fullcapacity in one revolution. Precision steel springs are factory calibrated using certified weights. Available in avoirdupois and metric units. Shipping weight 11 lbs (5 kg).
